Key Performance Indicators
Using measurement to set challenging and clear targets is key to improving performance.
We set non-financial key performance indicators for the business, based on our Building Together framework. These key performance indicators are built up from our annual targets.
Finance Director at British Land, Graham Roberts, comments: "We set targets that are beyond what we can comfortably expect to achieve so that we improve performance year-on-year." He adds: "We focus on performance-based targets, weighting each target for importance. Each target is owned by a member of our management team who develops an action plan to drive performance."
Reporting procedures are in place to monitor progress, with performance against our corporate responsibility indicators forming part of the regular reporting to the Group's main Board.
