Waste management at Regent's Place

90 tonnes diverted from landfill
£3,600 saving on landfill taxes
Our new management office at Regent’s Place

Our contractor re-used or recycled 97% of waste during the refurbishment of our management office at Regent’s Place in London's West End.

They sorted waste on-site, reducing the amount of mixed waste which is more difficult to recycle. Careful waste management encourages more efficient materials usage, preserving precious resources and cutting material costs.

We are working to improve our understanding of transport-related carbon emissions on our developments and refurbishments. On this project, 32 journeys generated 412 kg of carbon emissions.

“By reducing the amount of material brought to site and waste removed from site we reduce vehicle movements. This cuts carbon emissions and eases traffic congestion, as well as providing savings on transport costs.”
