Energy savings at 155 bishopgate

A new power conditioning system is reducing electricity use by 5% for the same power output.

The ElectroFlow system is improving the efficiency of power consumption, as well as conditioning the power supply to reduce or eliminate harmonics. It is also reducing stresses on electric motors, thus increasing the lifespan of equipment.

“The ElectroFlow power conditioning system offers guaranteed electricity savings without any disruption to equipment or machinery. All the occupiers at 155 Bishopsgate agreed to the installation of the system, given that it would reduce energy use, cut electricity bills and save carbon emissions. The original forecast was for a two year payback but a Statistical Path Analysis has indicated that this will be achieved within 18 months.”

Working together

This initiative was only possible with the support of our occupiers, including Baring Asset Management, Halifax Bank of Scotland, Marex Trading, RBS Sempra Commodities, Sumitomo Trust and Banking and Tullett Prebon. ElectroFlow Solutions UK provided the equipment and MB Consultants first presented the ElectroFlow system to Baring Asset Management and then to Broadgate Estates.
